Stephanie Williams, pen name Boo Irwin is a writer of young adult fiction. Her short story The Scale is due to be published in 2009 as part of Dragon Tales, an anthology by Wyvern Publications. She also has a short horror story for teenagers 'A Ghosty Tale' coming out later this year in an anthology by Bridge House Publishing. 2010 will see the publication of Miserable Middles, a collaboration on Tim Burtonesque short stories for young and old. Miserable Middles will be an illustrated collectors item published by Rebel Books LLP.

Stephanie is also the North West Regional Co-ordinator for the Society of Childrens Book Writers & Illustrators as well as the Assistant Editor of Words & Pictures (the SCBWI magazine).
